Fantastic haunt
WOW!! Fantastic haunt. So much creativity and detail in the artwork. The vampires and witches were dressed to kill. They looked their part and also acted out well. Lots of props to perk up the show. Lighting and sound was used to create the fearful atmosphere. It was a great presentation.

Email Verified Simply superb
The dark hour house was simply superb. They simply take you to the world of witches and vampires. The setup was such that it easily evokes fear in the minds of mortals. It was a great show by the actors. Loved the excitement they showed. It was contagious and followed us till the end.

Incredible time!!!
Had an incredible time!!! There were three unique scare zones. The cemetery, manor and a crypt city. It is a joy to take in the creativity and efforts of the team to put up a structure.

Email Verified I’ve gone 7 times in 4 years
I heard they put in over $1,000,000 into this place. It’s definitely the most detailed and movie setup like in the dfw. I wish they would go back to the thriller dance routine at the beginning. I love going to this place!

Good scares
Second year in row I've been and both times have been a great experience! Super detailed rooms. Good scares and a good time. Worth every penny.

Email Verified Never seen before
It was a height of fear and excitement at Dark Hour. Never seen so many vampires and witches and it looked so surreal. It was nail biting fear and you will hope to end it all pretty soon.

Terrifying houses
This is the best thing to do for Halloween! Terrifying houses and the walk around scarers will get you. Most of the rooms were in darkness and you will have the adrenaline rush throughout. And it was superb. 10/10, definitely a yearly tradition.

Email Verified Stunning effects
I have been a regular visitor of Dark Hour from 2015 and since then the haunt had developed tremendously in its setup and also service. The dark maze was really scary and walking through it was a very difficult task. Had visited almost every themes but wreck of the hells was my most favorite among all. Scares were around every corner and the special effects were stunning. Will come again.

Good thrill for your money too. The props and lighting were put to good use. Perfect scares and we loved the witches. I highly recommend giving this place a chance! Tons of fun!

Nightmare experience
We had a waking nightmare experience. Strobe lights, fog, themes, decorations and settings were all excellent. You must try it out, it’s a must see haunted attraction and very well arranged by the team. The attractions are handicap accessible which is really good.

Beautiful and haunting
I and friends visited Dark Hour.. the costumes and the amount of details that went in the making of this haunt is commendable. The visuals were beautiful and haunting. Actors in creepy costumes scared the crap out of us. As the name suggests, it was pretty dark and those blinding strobe lights were our only guiding lights. Carl's play house was awesome. I would suggest that you go for VIP tickets. Good one.

Very bad
The background theme and sound were very bad. Most of the inside area were basic walk through without any creepy setups; some objects were just dummies. I wouldn’t recommend this haunted place to anyone.

Too long lines
Not impressed with the quality of this haunt. A long queue and arrogant behavior of some staff were on the table to experience. I found people were scaring each other more than actors while walking through the haunted house.

A different haunt experience
It was a good haunt. I liked the second haunted house more. Lets give credit to the actors there. The set design, actors and scares were top notch. The line was a bit long..but we were entertained by the cast while we were waiting to get in. The rain, snow, jeep coming at you and helicopter spotting light from above all made it a different haunt experience. One issue I faced was that it was pretty dark..you only got the strobe lights to guide you.. I walked some distance hugging on to the wall. In the flashing light, I saw couple of props that were of high quality. But I would have loved to see more of the place. Overall, it was worth the price paid. I will recommend it to all scare lovers out there.

Email Verified Over priced
Waited for an hour in the queue. The fast pass tickets were higher as compared to other houses. Over priced for poor quality scare factor. Not recommended.

Props were scary
I am not scared easily..but I must admit that these guys had done a great job. The sets were done nicely. The props were scary, so were some of the actors in weird clothes. A little bit of lighting would have helped. Also, I wish it was longer. I was in and out of both the houses in under an hour. I will come back again with family soon.

Scary moments
The actors were good and we got few scary moments. The costumes and props were of average and some parts of the haunted house were very confusing and it was easy for anyone to point out the actors who were hiding in anticipation of scaring us.

Email Verified Unforgettable scary night
Waiting was little long but you will be entertained during the time. Its bit expensive but worth each penny. So don’t make the mistake of skipping this just because it is high priced you will enjoy each minute at Dark Hour. We had an unforgettable scary night and good memories of a very unique haunt this year. Highly recommend. Next time I will surely be back with another group for another big adventure.

Email Verified Spooky bone chilling adventure
This is really one of the best spot to enjoy the Halloween spirit to its fullest. The atmosphere is spooky and when you step in, it will be a bone chilling adventure. Actors were so much lively in their characters and come out with their best scares and so perfect timings.

CHECK THEIR SCHEDULE FIRST!!
Dark Hour, every time we've been there, has done a great show! The queue area has fun entertainment, and the maze (not sure what else to call it!) has yet to disappoint over the years. BUT - check their schedule! I could not believe that they were actually SCHEDULE TO BE CLOSED on October 30!! It's Halloween Weekend! HOW CAN YOU CLOSE?!? I can only presume it was to let your cast and staff be able to attend their own Halloween Parties, but c'mon! THE SHOW MUST GO ON!! :-D

If you've done it once...
We were excited to visit Dark Hour again this year since it was great last year (our 1st time). Unfortunately, it was exactly the same as last year. All of our favorite unexpected scares were the same and in the same place. No new scares this year! Sorry Dark Hour, but we won't be visiting a 3rd time!

INCREDIBLE
I went on October 2nd and it was great! I am never scared by haunted houses so I go to new ones all the time, hoping to be scared. This haunted house did the job! It was a long haunted house also (about 25-30 minutes) and while waiting in line, they have dancers and entertainment in the stage. I will definitely attend again for the Christmas haunt!

Best production value and constantly evolving
There is something to be said for actually seeing scares occur as opposed to the blind mazes that many places try to pass off as a haunt. Dark Hour shows you something to be afraid of, the quality of their makeup and props is excellent, they give you something new every time you go, and they are open throughout the year. We love it.

The Best of the Best
The attention to decor, detail, story, costume realism, characterization surpasses all others! Clearly the best, most commited actors I've ever encountered! Truly impressed. And I'm a very judgmental theatre director and producer. I attended on Halloween, and the way they customized and adapted it to an evil christmas theme was genius! -- Robert Banks, Murder Mystery Texas

Best show in DFW
From the characters entertaining you irreverently in the wait line, to the elaborate sets, costumes, and professional actors, this is a treat worth the wait. We were startled, scared, and amazed in every scene. We cannot wait to see the next show!
